The Great Canadian Relay CBC and Lively Media are launching a national fitness initiative and they are looking for a middle school in BC to participate. This program will take grade seven & eight students from 12 schools across Canada and train them to run 10 kilometres. These students will run in the Great Canadian Relay - the first and only relay to cross Canada coast-to-coast on foot. The chosen school will be assigned local trainers, registered dietitians, and a famous Canadian athlete, who will mentor, inspire and champion the students. Each of the 12 middle schools chosen will also be awarded $25,000 worth of fitness equipment. Details on how to partcipate are attached here. |
