About our scholarship programs
Grades 6-12 Technology Scholarship
The BCSSA, in collaboration with Apple Canada, established the Technology Scholarship program to recognize outstanding achievement in technology-based learning. Students are invited to submit a website project for an opportunity to receive a scholarship prize from Apple. Winners in 2005-2006 will each receive the new video iPod. This year, we have added a "best website of the year" Grand Prize of an iBook.
The scholarship selection criteria include creativity, visual appearance, technical quality and educational content. There is a total of six iPod awards, one in each of the six grade-level entry categories: Grade 6-7, Grade 8, Grade 9, Grade 10, Grade 11, Grade 12. The Grand Prize winner with the best website of the year not only gets an iPod but also an iBook!
