Metamorphic Rock

    Metamorphic rock is the result of the (chemical or physical) properties of sedimentaryigneous, or previously modified metamorphic rock being changed either by great pressure or heat.  At the core of the earth, there is a very hot substance called magma, under great pressure. The outside of this roughly spherical area is where the metamorphic rock is. Below is a diagram of this phenomenon and another shows the rock cycle.
