Mechanical Mixture
Anything on the earth can be classified into two categories:
Matter or energy. Matter is something that has mass and volume, and is either a
mixture or pure
substance.
Mechanical mixture: When two or more different materials are
mixed together but are visibly not wholly one, like sand and stones on a beach,
or milk and cereal in a bowl, a mechanical mixture is created. Another name is
"Heterogeneous mixture". These mixtures are without definite
composition, and have several component parts that can mechanically separated
from the rest. Pizza is another example, so, the image below is of a
pizza. How many components are found in this mechanical mixture?
